  • THE ONASSIS FOUNDATION SCIENCE LECTURE SERIES 2010 IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

    Onassis Summer School in Computer Science is devoted to: “Network and Information Security” this year and accepting applications through June 4, 2010.

    Lecturers are: Adi Shamir (The Weizmann Institute of Science), Turing Award (2002). Alessandro Acquisti (Carnegie Mellon University). Steven Bellovin (Columbia University). Kenny Paterson (Royal Holloway University of London).
    Bart Preneel (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven). George Spanoudakis (City University London). Udo Helmbrecht - Guest Lecturer - (ENISA). Socrates Katsikas - Guest Lecturer - (University of Piraeus).

    The lectures will cover topics ranging from cryptographic mechanisms, algorithms and protocols to NIS applications and services that address academic, research and policy issues, as well as new developments in this emerging world.

    The Onassis Foundation provides financial support to 35 Greeks and 15 International qualified students (post Graduate and advanced Undergraduate) for their travel and local expenses.

  • Doctoral Showcase

    The Doctoral Showcase invites Ph.D. students in HPC, networking, storage and analysis, who anticipate graduating within the next 12 months, to submit a short summary of their research. Those selected will present a 15-minute summary of their best research to experts in academia, industry and research laboratories. Students are encouraged to submit a one-page summary of their research, publication list, and three slides on their major results for consideration by the reviewers
